From inside the app

1. Open the Parent Room and pass the parent gate.
2. Choose Delete account.
3. Confirm. The account and its data are removed.

If you no longer have the app installed, write to [email protected] from the address on the account. We will confirm and delete it.

What deletion removes

• The account itself and the email address on it.
• The stored form of your password, and any Sign in with Apple or Google link.
• Your subscription status, and RevenueCat's record of your purchases.
• The link to every device signed in to it, which are all signed out.
• Reading progress, the shelf and downloaded stories on the device you are holding.

We hold nothing about any individual child, and reading progress is kept on your devices rather than by us, so there is no child profile to delete separately. Deletion is immediate; copies held in our database's point-in-time recovery expire within 30 days. Deletion cannot be undone, and it applies to every device signed in to that account.

Language and text size stay, because they are settings on the device rather than anything about a person.

What stays, and why

Each device keeps only an anonymous installation record, no longer linked to you, so the app goes on working there. It is deleted once the app has not contacted us for 24 months, or straight away if you ask. Apple and Google keep their own records of what you bought, as the sellers.

Deleting does not cancel a subscription

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so deleting an account here leaves the billing running. Cancel it in the App Store or in Google Play first, then delete the account.
